HFL works smarter to keep buildings in optimal condition...

HFL renovates its approach to property management with MaxLogic and IBM Maximo.

James Kissane from HFL says, "It’s possible to see how a specific site is delivering against the contract that we originally priced up. Are we making a profit? Are costs higher or lower than we estimated? These are insights that we simply didn’t have before working with MaxLogic."

IBM Case Studies

Below are outline details of successful upgrades and implementations of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) by MaxLogic across various industries, showcasing the adaptability and effectiveness of MAS in enhancing asset and service management, improving operational efficiency, and providing robust cloud-based solutions.

Enterprise-wide upgrade from Maximo 7.6. to MAS running on premise.
Power Generation & Renewables, United Kingdom / US / Japan, 2,000 users

January 2022 - April 2022

One of the UKs largest energy generation utilities use Maximo to manage plant & corporate assets maintained via their large internal workforce and third party contractors. MaxLogic were tasked with completing an initial Health Check on the state of the existing on-premise Maximo 7.6.1.2. system in use. Results of this Health Check culminated in MaxLogic becoming their primary Maximo support partner and successfully completing the upgrade of the large-scale Generation utility client from Maximo 7.6.1.2. -> MAS with an interim step at 7.6.1.3. on the way. This sat within a wider project portfolio that was successfully delivered including de-customisation (back to configuration), integration enhancements, P2P improvements, mobile readiness and application & workflow enhancements).

All testing and the move from 7.6.1.3. onto MAS was successfully completed in a fast paced 3-month time frame required to meet outage window. This included Asset, Works, Inventory and Purchasing Management modules with complex integrations maintained to ERP, PI and other systems feeding Maximo. This was achieved by tapping our in-depth knowledge of the OpenShift infrastructure and our risk-based Testing Strategy to optimise QA requirements. This was the first on premise deployment of MAS completed worldwide.
